Arizona: The Trip

Well folks, if you follow me on social you know that I went to Arizona this past long weekend and had the TIME OF MY LIFE. I cannot tell you how much this trip was needed and how being with my girls just filled my heart up. For those of you that don’t follow me here, I’ll give you the short story. Myself and my 3 best friends from college currently all live in different states. Truly don’t know how that happened because we are all from the Midwest area (3 of us are from Michigan even), but life happens and we’re scattered all across the US now, so it now takes a bit of planning to see each other since we can’t just go downstairs to hang out or make a spontaneous day trip to see one another. So when we were all in Chicago for my birthday (don’t know how that really happened either!!) we decided we needed to plan our next trip and that MLK day would be the perfect time. So, Carlee who lives in Phoenix said she could host us and the rest is history!

We spent five glorious days with the most wonderful weather where Lauren and I just kept saying “IT’S SO NICE OUT.” Since Michigan and Chicago were currently covered in snow at the time. One of the days we took a day trip up to Sedona and hiked Devil’s Bridge and WOW. It was beautiful and terrifying and wonderful and worth every second. If you’re ever in the Phoenix area, definitely do the hike. It’s very easy and yes, touristy, but it’s worth it.

I mean, look at this view. Breathtaking.

The trip obviously included more than Sedona, but to see that, you’ll have to watch the vlog we took to find out! I’ve linked it below:) You can also watch my evening routine and what’s in my suitcase that I linked beneath it!

If you can’t tell, I’m trying to revive my dead Youtube channel, so please watch. I’ll be back with the details on where we ate, what we did, and what places I don’t recommend in another post!
